Vancouver will play host to Canada's only Pokemon Regional Championships on May 27-29, 2022. The three-day event will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre. 

According to the official Pokemon website, up to $50,000 in prizes, scholarships, and gift cards. And up to $65,000 when Pokémon GO is also held.

Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon video game players must bring their own game system, their own Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game, and a legal Pokémon team. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.

In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. In addition to the main tournaments, there will be lots of other opportunities to play Pokemon TCG, Pokemon VG, and Pokken Tournament games in less competitive tournaments.
