April is fast approaching which means we have a new batch of releases coming up that we are super excited about. Check out the new releases coming to Hobbiesville below.

 

Speed Duel GX Box 

Current Release Date: April 1st 

Prepare to get your game on with the new Speed Duel Box featuring Yu-Gi-Oh! GX!* Just like the popular Speed Duel: Battle City Box, it is designed to allow up to 8 players to jump into their own dynamic tournament experience and includes a static pool of around 200 cards to construct various popular strategies with, most of which are brand new to Speed Duel! To use a card in Speed Duel it must have the Speed Duel Symbol on the card, cards without the Symbol are not legal, but Speed Duel cards can be used in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Skill Cards may only be used in Speed Duel.

Lucario Premium Collection Box 

Current Release Date: April 8th

The mighty Lucario is ready to battle in the Pokémon TCG: Lucario VSTAR Premium Collection. This set includes two stunning etched promo cards featuring the popular Pokémon. First up is Lucario V, whose Crushing Punch lets you discard a Special Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon, and whose Cyclone Kick does an impressive 120 damage. Lucario V can then evolve into Lucario VSTAR, who has the Fighting Knuckle attack that does 120 damage and an extra 120 more if your opponent's Active Pokémon is a Pokémon V. Lucario VSTAR's incredible VSTAR Power Aura Star does 70 damage for each Energy attached to your opponent's Active and Benched Pokémon, so wait until they've powered up their team to unleash this punishing move.

2022 Ghosts from the Past

Current Release Date: April 22nd

As previously noted, it will be an all-foil booster set with Ghost Rares replacing Ultra Rares one out of five times in packs. Konami also revealed that all non-Ghost Rares in the set will be Ultra Rares, and some boxes will include one of nine new Ghost Rares cards which could include popular cards like Cyber Dragon, Dark Magician Girl, and Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

This set also features dozens of cards that are receiving foil upgrades for the first time, and new monsters. Some of the new monsters included in this set are Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon, Decode Talker Heatsoul, and Borrelend Dragon

V Heroes Tins: Features the Espeon V, Sylveon V, and Umbreon V from Sword & Shield – Evolving Skies.

Current Release Date: April 22nd

Evolve your gameplay with the Pokémon TCG: V Heroes Tin, featuring several powerful Evolutions of Eevee as Pokémon V! Streets of New Capenna

Current Release Date: April 29th

Streets of New Capenna will take place in a 1920s mob era. There are 5 main crime families where a substance called Halo drives business on the plane & rivalry.

 

• The set contains 281 regular cards and includes randomly inserted premium versions of all cards. 
• The regular cards include 10 full-art "Metropolis" basic lands. Each type has two different pieces of art. Alternate card frames have another card number than the original version.
